  • Making at MUN: A Faculty of Education Makerspace project

  • General Information

    These sessions are meant to allow anyone from the general public to come and experience making something for themselves in the Faculty of Education's fabrication lab in the G.A. Hickman building on the St. John's campus.  Each session will give an individual 10-12 hours over two Saturdays to complete a project.  In addition to providing basic materials we will have experts onsite to assist.

    This event is offered FREE OF CHARGE!

    Session 1:  October 15 and 22 (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) -snack provided

    Session 2:  October 29 and November 5 (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) -snack provided

    This is an online database of some of the equipment available for the makerspace sessions.  The detailed list is still being completed but we have a full suite of wood and metal working tools, 3D printers, CNC routers, computers, and electronics tools.
